About Me

I received my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the University of Denver in 1999. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine’s Jacobi Hospital the following year, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Menninger Clinic, Topeka, Kansas in July 2001.

I subsequently worked as a staff psychologist at the University of California, San Francisco/San Francisco General Hospital’s Trauma Recovery Center, and as a psychologist for Survivors International, San Francisco, as well as several other public and private agencies, providing therapy and testing. 

I have provided treatment, assessment, and diagnosis through a variety of modalities, including individual and group therapy, in inpatient and outpatient settings, and via cognitive, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, Jungian, and psychoanalytic approaches. I have worked extensively with trauma victims, and have diagnosed and treated patients in the United States and internationally. I have taught psychology theory and treatment.
